6-year-old child hit by car on J'lem sidewalk dies

A 6-year-old child died from a head wound he sustained when a car lost control and hit him and several others on a Jerusalem sidewalk on Wednesday.

The child was admitted to Hadassah Ein Carem hospital in Jerusalem following the accident. He was unconscious and on an assisted breathing machine. His death was announced several hours later.

The boy's five-year-old sister was also seriously injured in the accident. She is unconscious and doctors are treating a serious stomach wound she sustained in the accident.
