At least 22 dead in pre-election violence in Pakistan

At least 22 people died in confrontations in the Pakistani city of Karachi Saturday night, sparked by elections that scheduled for Sunday for a seat in the provincial assembly, reported Reuters.
In August, a legislator from Karachi's Muttahida Qaumi Movemenet was gunned down, triggering violence which resulted in the death of 100 people in a week.
Police have reportedly increased security at polling stations.
