Blast in Pakistan's Peshawar kills 1, wounds 10

PESHAWAR, Pakistan - An explosion in the Pakistani city of Peshawar on Friday killed one person and wounded 10 people, including two foreigners, a hospital official and local media reported, the latest in an upsurge of violence since Osama bin Laden was killed.
The explosion took place on a main road in the northwestern city. Intelligence officials told Reuters a bullet-proof vehicle was damaged by what appeared to be a car bomb.
"A man on a motorbike who was passing by was killed in the blast, which was caused by a car bomb," said one intelligence official on the scene.
