Bomb kills at least 10 in northwest Pakistan

PESHAWAR, Pakistan — A car bomb exploded outside a hospital for Shi'ite Muslims that is under construction in northwestern Pakistan on Friday, killing at least 10 people, police said.
The bomb partially damaged the hospital building in the Pass Kili area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province's Hangu district. Senior government official Khalid Khan Omarzai said several people were also wounded in the explosion.The attack comes just a day after the start of the holy month of Muharram, which is especially important for Shiites but is often marred by bomb attacks.
