Cabinet vote on most Trajtenberg measures postponed

The cabinet vote on the majority of the cost of living measures expected to take place on Sunday was postponed after the body's weekly meeting opened late due to heavy traffic on the way to Jerusalem.
The steps were part of the government’s implementation of the Trajtenberg Committee’s recommendations on sweeping socioeconomic change that was approved in September.
The cabinet did manage to pass a small number of clauses from the report in the time allotted. The cabinet passed the clause raising by 20 percent the maximum internet purchase that allows a buyer exemption from import tax to NIS 1200.
