Clinton: US-Libya friendship won't be casualty of attack

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Wednesday that the US-Libya friendship would not be a casualty of the attack that killed four embassy staff including US ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens overnight Tuesday in Benghazi.
Clinton said that the attack was the work of a "small and savage group," not the people or the government of Libya.
The four members of staff were killed in a rocket attack on their car, a Libyan official said, as they were rushed from a consular building stormed by militants denouncing a US-made film insulting the Prophet Mohammad. Conflicting reports suggested the diplomats were killed by crowds storming the embassy.
"How could this happen is a country we helped liberate, in a city we saved from destruction?" Clinton asked.
