Comptroller calls on AG to investigate leak of his draft report on Bibi Tours

State Comptroller Joseph Shapira on Sunday called for Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein to investigate the leaking of his draft report or portions of his draft report on the Bibi Tours Affair attributed by the media to Channel 10 reporter Raviv Drucker.
Shapira called the past and present leaking of drafts of his report “an improper phenomenon and a violation of the law.”In September, Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein had already closed his review of the “Bibi Tours” scandal, determining there was little chance of it leading to an indictment, but the comptroller's report had still not been published.
The affair involved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s allegedly problematic flights funded by wealthy associates from the late 1990s to early 2000s.
“At the end of the day, in light of the balance of the evidence collected, it could not be found that there was a basis to open a full criminal investigation” of the prime minister, the attorney-general previously said.
