Couple arrested for smuggling 3.2 kilos of cocaine

A couple who arrived in Israel from Columbia early Monday were arrested by police at a Jerusalem hotel for allegedly smuggling liquid cocaine in their stomachs, police reported.
Acting on intelligence, police found in the suspect's hotel room, 109 latex condoms which were used to smuggle the 3.232 kilograms of cocaine, with an estimated value of 300,000 dollars. 
The female suspect, born in 1988, swallowed 49 of the condoms and the male suspect, born in 1975, swallowed 60 condoms.
The two will be brought to Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court in the coming weeks.
