Cyprus police use teargas to disperse angry crowds

NICOSIA - Police used teargas on Tuesday to disperse angry crowds protesting outside Cyprus's presidential palace over the death of 12 people in a massive munitions dump blast.
A Reuters witness said police in riot gear fired numerous rounds of teargas outside the palace, as crowds burst through an outer gate in the area. Thousands of people took part in the demonstration in central Nicosia.
