Dairy boycott leaders failed reach deal on lowering prices

Two organizers of the "cottage cheese boycott" on Tuesday met with the chairman of APAX Partners, the international conglomerate that owns Tnuva, in efforts to lower the price of diary products, but failed to reach an agreement, Israel Radio reported.
Itzik Alrov and Benny Groberman proposed setting up a round-table with dairy manufacturers, farmers, heads of dairy product plants, marketing networks and government representatives.
APAX Chairman Zehavit Cohen praised the initiative and announced that Tnuva would cooperate with any solution reached.
