Dan Diker becomes new WJC secretary general

The Governing Board of the World Jewish Congress (WJC) confirmed the appointment of Dan Diker as the Secretary General of the umbrella organization of 92 Jewish communities throughout the world, a press release from the organization said Monday.
Diker will succeed Michael Schneider who had served the past four years.

The appointment takes place on the 75th anniversary of the WJC.
