Decision on voting abroad bill postponed

The ministerial committee on legislation delayed a decision on Sunday on a bill that would enable expatriate Israelis to vote abroad.
The bill was referred to the Knesset's governance committee headed by Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman, which will attempt to reach a compromise among the parties in the coalition over the next month.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said he would be involved personally in the efforts to find a common denominator between Labor and Shas - that oppose the bill - and Israel Beiteinu that proposed it. Kadima will host a rally against the bill at the Knesset on Monday.
