Despite secret Turkish-Israeli meeting, demands unchanged

Turkish officials confirmed a secret meeting between Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Israeli Trade and Industry Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer on Wednesday, according to a Reuters report.
However, despite the meeting, Turkish demands remain the same. In order to improve relations between the two countries after the Flotilla raid,
Turkey wants Israel to apologize for the raid, agree to UN inquiry into the incident, pay compensation, and end the blockade of the Gaza Strip. The meeting between Ben-Eliezer and Davutoglu sparked controversy in Israel, as Ben-Eliezer having been sent without the knowledge of Israel's foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman.
