The Kadima party suffered a heart attack and must nowundergo bypass surgery, MK Avi Dichter said at Saturday’s weekly Shabbatarbutsession.
“I believe and hope that Kadima chairwoman Tzipi Livni willlead the party to primaries in 2010,” he said.
During his speech, Dichter also referred to ongoingnegotiations with Hamas to secure the release of captured IDF soldier GiladSchalit. “I am proud to be part of a nation that brings its sons home,” hesaid, “even at a heavy price.”
