Dutch politician hate speech trial to resume

AMSTERDAM — An Amsterdam court has ordered the hate speech trial of anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders to resume.

The Amsterdam District Court rejected Wilders' arguments that judges in his case were biased.
Wilders, who is enmeshed in negotiations to form a right-wing government, faces charges of inciting hatred against Muslims for remarks including comparing Islam to Nazism and for calling for a ban on the Quran.
A review panel ruled Tuesday there was little evidence judges were biased and ordered the trial to resume Wednesday.
