Egypt: A terrorist cell captured, planned Israel attacks

A terrorist cell planning attacks against Israel was captured by Egyptian security forces. The cell intended, among other things, to bring down Israeli aircraft flying over the Palestinian territories, Asharq al-Awsat reported Wednesday.
One of the three cell members was a Palestinian, the report said. The cell had produced electronic detonation devices to enable remote attacks.
A Cairo court remanded the three for 15 days, for the investigation to continue.
