Eidelman vows hunger strike until doctors' dispute resolved

Israel Medical Association chairman Dr. Leonid Eidelman on Monday vowed to go on a hunger strike until the ongoing doctors' work dispute is resolved.
The National Labor Court rejected requests to issue an injunction against doctors on strike, after negotiations went unresolved all night. The court ruled early Monday morning that the doctors' strike is legal, proportionate, and does not yet require an injunction.
Eidelman said that the doctors would stage a protest march on Monday afternoon.
The IMA chief criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for not intervening to resolve the dispute.
