Eilat woman indicted by court for husband's murder

Beersheba District Court issued an indictment for pre-meditated murder against Liliana Mendoza of Eilat on Sunday for the death of her husband Ernesto.

Liliana and her family immigrated to Israel from South America with her family and worked as a security guard.

Ernesto was employed as a Coca Cola truck driver for several years at the time of his death and was described by his co-workers as a happy-go-lucky individual who was always a positive presence to be around.

Liliana is accused of killing Ernesto with her pistol a month ago in the family's apartment after he cursed and slapped her.
