Eldad: Infiltrators won't stop until IDF ordered to shoot

The Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Sunday toured Route 12 along the border with Egypt, observing the progress of construction of the border fence, meant to keep out illegal migrants and terrorists entering Israel from Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.

National Union MK Arieh Eldad said during the tour of the fence that "this massive enginerring project, as impressive as it is, will not succeed in stopping the flood of infiltrators if the IDF will not receive written instructions from the political echelon, signed by the attorney general, that anyone trying to cross the border will be shot."
