Emergency Knesset session on housing crisis called

The Knesset on Sunday canceled a scheduled committee meeting on the housing crisis recently thrust into the limelight by sleep-in tent protests throughout the country that began in Tel Aviv on Thursday. Instead, an emergency discussion named "Whose afraid of bursting the real estate bubble" will be held.
The previously-scheduled Knesset Finance Committee session was canceled after Construction and Housing Minister Arel Attias and Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz canceled their appearances.
