Energy minister: Decision to attack Iran is Israel's alone

Energy and Water Minister Uzi Landau said on Monday that the decision to attack Iran over its controversial nuclear program is Israel's alone, hinting Jerusalem would not feel compelled to inform its allies ahead of time, Army Radio reported.
"Despite the fact that we need to listen to others, the decision [to strike Iran] is strictly ours, and only ours," Landau said on Army Radio.
The minister's position reflects the opinion of some US defense officials, who have said that Washington is concerned that Israel will not necessarily warn the US prior to a military operation against the Islamic Republic.
