Erdogan on Libya: Taking cruel steps will increase violence

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan warned Libya against taking cruel steps to crush an uprising by its people, Reuters reported Tuesday.
"Taking cruel steps against people voicing their democratic demands will only exacerbate the spiral of violence and threaten the country's unity," Erdogan said in the Turkish parliament.
