Firefighters gain control J'lem fire, working to finish job

Firefighters have gained control over a forest fire that broke out near Yad Vashem in Jerusalem and were working to finish putting it out, Israel Radio reported a Jewish National Fund representative as saying Sunday.
The fire, which reportedly began simultaneously in four different spots, had injured eleven people who were being treated for smoke inhalation, including five firefighters.
Hundreds of dunams were burned as the fire spread from 3:30 p.m. until firefighters, including two planes, gained control.
