France supports the work carried out by the International Criminal Court (ICC) concerning the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri, the French ambassador for Human Rights François Zimeray told Saudi Arabian newspaper
Al-Riyadh Sunday.
According to Zimeray, the assassination in Lebanon was "directed against democracy," justifying the ICC's work in the case.
Four members of Hezbollah were indicted last week for the assassination of Hariri in 2005.
