'Galilee doctor offers police bribe to cancel traffic fine'

A 28-year-old doctor was arrested on Wednesday afternoon after he allegedly offered to pay police NIS 2,000 in return for canceling a traffic ticket he had received for talking on his cellular phone while driving.
The doctor, a Galilee resident, was stopped by police near Kfar Tavor. According to police, he began to shout and misbehave. When police asked him to calm down, he allegedly apologized and offered the bribe.The doctor was taken in for questioning.
