Gantz decides to remove Eisner from his post

IDF Chief of General Staff Benny Gantz decided Wednesday to remove Lt.-Col. Shalom Eisner from his post as deputy commander of the Jordan Valley Brigade, after reviewing the findings from an investigation into an incident when Eisner slammed his service rifle into a pro-Palestinian activist's face.

According to the decision, Eisner will also not be able to serve in a command position for the next two years and will not take up his post in the summer as deputy commander of the Bahd 1 officers training school.
