Germany looking again into Nazi criminal's case

Germany's Justice Ministry says it is looking into the possibility of jailing an 88-year-old man more than 60 years after his conviction for Nazi war crimes in the Netherlands.
Spokesman Ulrich Staudigl said Monday that ministry experts think enforcing the Dutch life sentence against former SS member Klaas Carel Faber for multiple Nazi murders might still be an option.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center says Faber fled to Germany in 1952 from a life prison term in the Netherlands. German authorities decided not to extradite or try him. Faber has lived in Bavaria as a free man for decades.
