Gideon Sa'ar, Chief Rabbi Metzger to attend ECJC meeting

Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar, Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger and dozens of other Jewish leaders and businessmen will gather in Berlin on October 24th for the European Council of Jewish Communities meeting.

The gathering, which is held once every decade, will debate issues of importance to European Jewry including Iran's nuclear program, and ways of encouraging the next generation of Jewish leaders.

"We hope to emerge from the conference with an updated agenda and strong leadership," Igor Kolomoisky, a leading Jewish leader from Ukraine who will take attending the event, said.

The ECJC was founded 40 years ago and acts as an umbrella group for Jewish organizations across the continent.
