Government makes more kiosk drugs illegal

Additional dangerous chemical drugs sold to young people in kiosks around the country were on Monday made illegal by the Knesset Labor, Social Affairs and Health Committee.
The committee, headed by MK Haim Katz, added synthetic cannabinoids - which give users a sensation of "floating" - on the list of illegal drugs. The addictive chemicals can also cause disquiet, anxiety, irregular heartbeats and other phenomena.
Another drug that was made illegal is used as anesthesia for operations on horses but causes delusions, headaches and nausea in humans. New drug combinations are produced so fast that the government has trouble keeping up with them.
