Gov't services minister lashes out at MKs critical of Barak

Government Services Minister Michael Eitan lashed out at several ministers and right-wing MKs who criticized the defense minister for his handling of the evacuation of 15 settler families from a potential hot spot in Hebron, after the decision to empty the house was enforced on orders by the attorney-general.
"It's ridiculous that government ministers exonerated Defense Minister [Ehud Barak], when the move was made on the recommendation of the attorney-general, and with full consent by the prime minister," Eitan said.
"If these ministers have criticism, they ought to have the courage to steer it towards he who sits at the top, instead of seeking out scapegoats," the government services minister charged.
