Graffiti targets Big Brother participant; police inquiring

Police are investigating hostile graffiti allegedly sprayed by religious activists on the wall of a restaurant owned by former Big Brother participant Frieda Hecht in Tel Aviv, who gained notoriety after taking a copy of the bible to the bathroom.
Hecht's act drew fierce criticism from a second Big Brother contestant during the program, and produced on-air confrontations, but the second participant today strongly condemned the graffiti.
"Beware of desecrating the Torah," one message said.
Speaking to Channel 2 News on Tuesday, Hecht said, "There have always been extremists and there always will be. I know that when I was on Big Brother, the restaurant received many threats, including a death threat. I'm not scared," she added.
