Greece and Israel set to sign new aviation treaty

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Greek Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas will sign an aviation treaty tomorrow on Monday, 18 October. The treaty will replace a previous aviation agreement between Israel and Greece that was signed in 1952.
The new agreement covers a variety of subjects concerning aviation relations between the two countries, such as the licensing of one additional air carriers in Greece and one Israel that are allowed to fly to each other's destinations. Other subjects that will be include in the new agreement include establishing rules for setting air rates; establishing procedures for settling disputes through negotiations or arbitration; establishing a schedule of routes;  setting up guidelines for mutual criticism over the implementation agreement, as well as other subjects.
