Police arrested four youths in Haifa on Saturday on suspicion that they attacked two soldiers on their way to medical tests.
The four youths, who are of Arab background, allegedly attacked the soldiers in the seaside Bat Galim neighborhood on their way to the Rambam Medical Center, according to Israel Radio.Hospital security staff came to aid of the two soldiers, chasing away the suspects and taking the two soldiers to the hospital where they were treated for light wounds.
Police were not ruling out the possibility that the attack was for nationalist causes, according to Israel Radio.
