Hammetz sale forms go online in Shoham

How is this Passover different than others? That for the first time, residents of the local council Shoham will be able to sell their leavened products, hammetz, via the municipal website.
At the initiative of Shoham Rabbi David Stav, who is also chairman of the modern orthodox Tzohar Rabbis' organization, a form available online will enable those who wish to appoint Stav to sell their hammetz, as per the directive to not have any leavened products in ones home during the holiday.
"For some years now Tzohar has been organizing online sales of hammetz nationwide," Stav said. "This year we decided to expand the initiative to Shoham, while using the online communication between the council and the residents. The new service will alleviate the sale of hammetz for residents who wish to undertake that command ahead of Passover."
