Hasson: Don't send Nat'l Service volunteers to rights NGOs

MK Yisrael Hasson (Kadima) recently called on Science and Technology Minister Daniel Hershkowitz (Habayit Hayehudi) to reformulate the criteria for allocating National Service volunteers to non-governmental organizations, specifically targeting human rights organizations who he slammed for providing information to the Goldstone Commission following Operation Cast Lead.

Among the organizations singled out by Hasson and highlighted in an investigation by Hershkowitz are the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI), The Public Committee Against Torture in Israel and Physicians for Human Rights.
