Hebron: Palestinians burn tires, hurl rocks at IDF soldiers

Dozens of Palestinians hurled rocks at security forces and set tires on fire near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron on Thursday afternoon. One Palestinian man was lightly hurt by a stone, Army Radio reported.
IDF soldiers used crowd dispersal measures against the rioters.
The violence began during a demonstration against the government's decision to add the Cave of the Patriarchs to the list of Jewish heritage sites  marked for renovation and preservation. Also Thursday, Palestinians marched through the West Bank city to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the Baruch Goldstein massacre.
Hebron settlers, meanwhile, held a prayer in protest over Palestinian riots following the heritage list decision.
