Henin slams 'racist, dangerous and frightening' Right

MK Dov Henin (Hadash) issued a strongly-worded reaction to the passing of a preliminary reading of they Civil Service Law by the full Knesset plenum Wednesday, stating that the law discriminates against the ability of Arabs to be accepted into the civil service.

"This is another dangerous initiative of Israel Beiteinu, supported by the extreme right-wing Netanyahu-Barak government," he said in a statement. "From the historic right, only Minister Benny Begin and Knesset Speaker [Reuven] Rivlin remain to resist the racist initiatives," adding, "The right is is leaving and changing its face, and its new faces are racist, dangerous and frightening."
