High Court forbids gender-separate sidewalks in Mea Shearim

The High Court declared that it is illegal to have separate men and women on the sidewalks of Mea Shearim in Jerusalem, in a decision made on Tuesday.
The court also outlawed the ushers that were patrolled the neighborhood for immodestly-dressed visitors.
During Succot, neighborhood residents illegally forced the separation on those passing through the area.
