High Court slams 'humiliating message' to Ethiopians

The High Court strongly criticized on Tuesday schools in Petah Tikvah that refused to accept Ethiopian children.

Justice Ayala Perotchya said that this is "unacceptable discrimination that sends a humiliating and insulting message of social inferiority."

Tebeka, an organization that fights for social justice for Ethiopians, along with lawyers Ram Casspi and Eyal Rozovsky, petitioned the court, saying that over the past two years Ethiopian children have been rejected from all schools in Petah Tikvah.
