Hotline for Holocaust survivors open on Yom Kippur

A free phone line to offer support to Holocaust survivors is available for those who suffer from stress or depression on Yom Kippur.

The Herzliya-based Association for Urgent Care to Holocaust Survivors say this group tends to find the Jewish holy day more difficult emotionally than most of the rest of the year. The organization also supplies food to those who desperately need it and other services.

Volunteers will answer calls at home during Yom Kippur. Call 03-5257888. They can also be reached at Helpline77@gmail.com.
