Hundreds of doctors light protest bonfire at Tel Aviv port

Hundreds of doctors, instructors and medical students staged a protest in the parking lot of Tel Aviv's Reading power station.
The protesters lit symbolic bonfires on Lag Ba’Omer to declare that “doctors are unwilling to continue to put out fires” in the health system.
The doctors have for two months been protesting against the Treasury’s “refusal to negotiate fairly” their demands for higher wages, increased manpower and restructuring the health system.
