Hundreds protest tear gas death of Bi'lin activist

Police arrested several protestors including former Meretz MK Mossi Raz, at a rally outside Defense Department headquarters in Tel Aviv Saturday night, held the day after protestor Jawaher Abu Rahma, 36, was killed by tear gas fired by IDF soldiers outside the West Bank village of Bi'lin.
The arrests were made at the end of the protest, when police began shoving protestors to clear them off the sidewalk across the street from the IDF headquarters. Raz was arrested during the fracas with police, who said that he struck them, while witnesses in the crowd said Raz was the one who was hit.
Hundreds took part in the protest, holding pictures of Abu Rahma and singing chants including "end the occupation" and "[Defense Minister Ehud] Barak, how many protestors have you killed as of today".
