IDF arrests two 'intelligence officers' south of Hebron

The IDF arrested two Palestinian suspects in Yatta, south of Hebron, during an overnight raid an IDF spokeswoman said Sunday.
Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported that the men work for the internal intelligence service of the Palestinian Authority.
The IDF spokesperson said no further details could be disclosed at this stage about the arrests.
Ma'an named the suspects as Yatta intelligence director Khalil Mohammad Khalid Abu Eid, 48, and head of Hebron operations Ahmad Ali Hassan Bahees, 40, citing Popular Committee Coordinator Rateb al-Jabour.
Jabour said Israeli forces had recently increased activity in south Hebron, particularly targeting former members of the Fatah-affiliated Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.
