IDF denies firing on Gazan, says bomb went off on border

An explosive device went off in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday, as two Palestinians were attempting to plant the bomb near the border with Israel , the IDF Spokesman's Office said on Monday.
The IDF denied Palestinian claims that soldiers opened fire during the incident, killing a 22-year-old Palestinian man.
Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported that the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine's military wing claimed the man was a member of their group on a "jihad mission." They claimed that the man, Ahmad al-Azameh, was killed by IDF fire.
