IDF destroys tents in Palestinian village

The Civil Administration of Judea and Samaria on Wednesday destroyed tentsand barracks that housed families in the West Bank Palestinian village ofKhirbet Tana, according to the United Nations.
It was the fourth time since 2005, according to the UN, that the civiladministration demolished homes in the village, which is located near Nablusand which the IDF considers a closed military zone.
As of press time, officials were unclear as to the exact number of demolished structures, but said that at least eight families lost their homes.
Separately, the civil administration demolished a fledgling unauthorizedJewish outpost located outside the settlement of Kiryat Arba. The outpost,called Mitzpe Avihai, has been demolished and rebuilt numerous times.
