IDF foils terror attack near Gaza border fence

An IDF force foiled an attempted terror attack when it opened fire on a group of men approaching the security fence between Gaza and southern Israel, near Kibbutz Erez, on Sunday.
Two Palestinians were killed in the IDF response. They were found to have been carrying firearms and an RPG launcher.
The IDF did not report any soldiers injured in the incident.
Earlier Sunday, the IDF identified multiple individuals attempting to come close to the security fence and fired warning shots, according to the IDF Spokesperson. The IDF also spotted two projectiles crashing into Israel, possibly mortar or rockets.
