IDF: Hizbullah sent pilot-less plane into Israel

A small toy plane flew into Israel from Lebanon two weeks ago and crashed near the border, the IDF revealed on Sunday.
The plane, which was 50 cm long, was believed to have been sent across the border by the Lebanese Al Manar satellite news station – run by Hizbullah – as a provocation in line with the fourth anniversary of the Second Lebanon War. The IDF Spokesman confirmed the details and said that the plane was not carrying any surveillance equipment.
During the 2006 war, Hizbullah flew a drone into Israel, which was shot down by the air force.
