IDF: Red alert siren in Sha'ar Hangev area is false alarm

The red-alert siren residents in communities within the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council heard was a "false alarm," the IDF said according to Army Radio.
Israelis in southern communities were reeling from four days of escalated violence with Gaza, after some 200 rockets were fired towards Israel between Friday and Tuesday.
A tenuous truce went into effect Monday overnight, and minus some interruptions on Tuesday, the cease-fire seemed to be holding on Wednesday.
