'Internet pedophile' appears in court

A father of three from central Israel suspected sexually harassing hundreds of children aged 10 to 13 on the internet appeared at the Kfar Saba Magistrate's Court on Monday for a second remand hearing.

The suspect, a senior hi-tech executive, allegedly pretended to be a young girl and entered social chat rooms to obtain nude photos of young girls, police suspect.

The court extended his custody by ten days. During the hearing, the police representative to court said detectives have made contact with dozens of girls the man allegedly contacted.
