INTERPOL hosts victim identification conference in Lyon

Senior international forensic and law enforcement experts gathered at INTERPOL's General Secretariat in Lyon, France on Tuesday to discuss current victim identification methods after a terrorist attack or natural disaster that leaves displaced persons and ruin, an INTERPOL press release said.
The 22nd Meeting of the Standing Committee on Disaster Victim Identification, which commenced Tuesday and is set to last until Thursday, brought together some 160 representatives from 40 different nations and international organizations like the International Red Cross, as well as private sector partners.
